Freddy’s name appears on many Merle albums. Freddy co-produced, sang and played guitar on Willie Nelson’s platinum album “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”. Merle Haggarad’s new pop album “Unforgettable” was produced by Freddy along with songwriter partner Bill McDavid.

Freddy has appeared on many Austin City Limits programs, the Tonight Show, Today Show and many appearances on TNN. He also created and co-produced The Rogers and Hammerhead Show, a cable ace award nominee.

Freddy has written songs for Merle Haggard, Ray Charles, George Jones, Janie Fricke and more.

He holds many BMI & CMA Awards including CMA’s Triple Play Award for writing three #1 songs in one year.
